For this year’s Vacation Bible School at Lebanon Student Ministries, the theme was “God on Film: The Classics Edition.” The goal was to connect timeless biblical truths with the nostalgic feel of vintage cinema. To bring that concept to life, the student director requested that a VHS tape be a central visual element—a nod to classic movie nights and retro storytelling.
Using that idea as the foundation, I designed a set of graphics that combined bold, cinematic typography with the texture and aesthetic of an old VHS cassette. The final artwork captures the throwback feel while remaining clean and eye-catching for modern use. This design was used across print, slides, and social media, setting the visual tone for the entire event and helping create an engaging and memorable experience for students.
