#1 concept
When it came to designing the screen graphics for Lebanon Student Ministry, I wanted to go for a style that would be vibrant but at the same time look good in a darker room. I feel the final design accomplishes that.
#2 Background
The design includes the Lebanon Student Ministry’s colors with three gradient fades. I took an angled gradient; and put the straight line of the angle on the bottom, then added a Gaussian Blur filter. Adding the filter and setting the precent was high enough to make the blue and orange fade into each other.
#3 Texture
Once I figured out the background, I knew the design would need texture. So I added some noise and added fade lines in each corner.
#4 Text/Finalizing
All that was left was to figure out if I just wanted to put the text ‘Lebanon Student Ministry’ or add the logo. After asking a few people, everyone picked the logo. The logo and put a drop shadow so the logo would stick out.
